NASA celebrated Hubble Space Telescope 20 years of discovery on April 23, 2010. In the two decades since space shuttle Discovery roared into orbit on April 24, 1990 with NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope, astronauts extended its abilities far beyond what was thought possible for longer than many thought realistic.
In 2009 space shuttle Atlantis astronauts conducted a servicing mission to the Hubble Space Telescope in order to provide an extended operational lifespan for Hubble until at least 2014.

哈勃太空望远镜20年来观测宇宙奥秘成就非凡
